PLAY FOUNDRY

The agreement

Terms & community standards

The practical rules for using Play Foundry, publishing content and looking after the people around you.

The short version

Be decent. Play fair. Protect the community.

These terms apply when you browse, register for or contribute to Play Foundry. You must be at least 16, provide accurate account information and protect access to your email account.

Play Foundry is an independent, member-led community. Access is provided as available and may change while the service develops. Connected services such as Discord, Google and Amazon have their own terms and privacy practices.

01

Treat people with respect

No harassment, hate speech, bullying, threats or deliberately hostile behaviour. Disagree with ideas without attacking the person.

02

Play fairly

Do not promote, distribute or request cheats, exploits, account theft, botting tools or instructions intended to undermine fair play.

03

Protect privacy

Never share another person’s private information, private messages, real-world identity or location without clear permission.

04

Keep content appropriate

No illegal material, sexual content involving minors, graphic shock content, scams, malware or links intended to harm members.

05

Mark spoilers clearly

Use spoiler warnings and the relevant channels for story details, especially around new releases and single-player games.

06

Promote thoughtfully

Do not spam streams, referral links, sales or other communities. Ask an admin before posting repeated promotional material.

07

Support moderation

Report problems privately and follow reasonable moderator instructions. Do not organise pile-ons or public arguments about moderation actions.

08

Understand commercial links

As an Amazon Associate, Play Foundry earns from qualifying purchases. Affiliate links are labelled, recommendations remain editorially independent and using them does not change the price you pay.

Moderation and enforcement

Report problems. Don’t start pile-ons.

Admins may remove content, issue warnings, restrict access or remove members where necessary. Serious threats, fraud, doxxing, cheating services or illegal content may result in immediate removal. Decisions can be reviewed by another admin when practical.

Effective 19 July 2026. We may update these terms as the community develops and will identify material changes. See the Privacy Notice for how personal data is handled. Game names, artwork and trademarks belong to their respective rights holders; their appearance does not imply endorsement.
